Quick summary: Unbox The Message is an entertainment tool with content created entirely by users. We are not responsible for what users place inside the boxes, and we are available to receive reports and remove boxes that are flagged as inappropriate or abusive.

1. What is Unbox The Message?

Unbox The Message is a playful web app where anyone can create a virtual “box” with a question, a secret code and a piece of content (image, video or link). Whoever receives the link must guess the secret word to “open” the box and see what is inside.

The focus is on creativity and fun among friends, communities and specific niches – for example: themed quizzes, puzzles, riddles, fan-club content, small creative projects and interactive invitations.

2. User-generated content

This means:

• We do not take responsibility for the content of boxes created by third parties;
• Any image, video, website or text you see is the sole responsibility of the person who created and shared that box;
• When you open a box created by someone else, you are accessing external, public content that is not under our control.

3. URL safety and trusted sources

Boxes can point to any public URL (videos, images or websites). This means the safety of what you are about to see depends on the source of the URL and on the person who created the box.

• You should only follow URLs from people and sources you trust;
• Do not interact with boxes coming from unknown sources, even if the link includes the legitimate Unbox The Message domain;
• Whenever possible, confirm with the sender that they truly created that box.

4. No encryption and no data secrecy

The idea behind Unbox The Message is pure entertainment. The tool was not designed as a secure communication channel or protected storage system.

• Do not use Unbox The Message to send sensitive data, secrets, personal information or anything that must remain private;
• Anyone with access to the box link may attempt to open it and view its content;
• There is no guarantee of confidentiality, privacy or secrecy regarding what is placed inside the boxes.

5. Purpose: entertainment and creative use cases

Unbox The Message should be understood as an easy-access entertainment tool to help people create and share small creative experiences within restricted groups and communities.

Some appropriate and inspiring use cases include:

• Sending birthday and event invitations in a creative way, where guests must discover the secret word to reveal the full invitation details;
• Light-hearted, humorous messages about current events, turning jokes, cultural references or memes into “surprise boxes”;
• Knowledge quizzes on restricted or thematic topics, such as series, movies, games, niche communities or study groups;
• Fun challenges among friends, riddles and light puzzles;
• Themed boxes for fan communities, study groups and specific audiences;
• Small, playful surprises (a public celebratory image, a public video or a link to open content).

Any usage that goes beyond this light, creative entertainment spirit is discouraged.

6. Reporting inappropriate content

If you encounter any box that you consider inappropriate, offensive, illegal, harmful or clearly outside the intended use of the tool, please use the “Report this box” option available on the box screen.

• When we receive a report, our team may review the flagged box;
• Content that appears abusive, harmful or illegal may be removed or blocked;
• This process depends on community collaboration, since all content is generated by users.
